RESIDENTIAL HOSPICE

OUR HOSPICE

Residential hospice combines the benefits of 24-hour professional care with the comfort and warmth of a home setting. We serve the needs of the individual receiving palliative care and their loved ones with peace, privacy and dignity.

At a symbolic level, the hospice is a home. At a functional level, it is a home, a care facility, and a workplace. It is also a community meeting place, a place of celebration of lives lived, and a place of sharing knowledge and stories.

Hospice Prince Edward features three private furnished rooms. Each room has its own washroom. The comfortable common areas include a shared kitchen, living room, outdoor patio and gardens.

Hospice Prince Edward is open to any individual who meets the criteria set out by Home & Community Care Support Services for residential hospice care.
